Our Product Marketing team’s mission is to generate customer insights that inform Stripe’s product strategy, and lead go-to-market for our suite of products. Product Marketing is a highly cross-functional role at Stripe, partnering closely with Product and Engineering, Sales, Partnerships, Demand Generation and Campaigns to name a few. Different from many other Product Marketing teams, our team works across the entire product lifecycle, from helping shape the product, to driving launch and commercialization, to growing product adoption post-launch.
Market Intelligence is embedded within Product Marketing and provides product and GTM leadership with insights, analysis, and recommendations to enhance product-market fit and position Stripe effectively in the market. We are looking for a member of the team who will define the team’s interlock with sister functions across Stripe, lead strategic initiatives to improve Stripe’s market position, and clearly articulate product and GTM priorities to inform strategic investments around what we build and for whom.
Whatyou’ll do
In this role, you will create the connective tissue between Market Intelligence and other cross-functional teams at Stripe such as GTM, Product, and Sales Ops. You will own the design, management, and execution of a competitive program that is effective, well understood, and observable.
Responsibilities- Effectively work cross-functionally to shape the program to meet internal user needs and design an engagement framework that intentionally maps all of the touchpoints and use-cases between our cross-functional partners and Market Intelligence rdinate initiatives to align plans and timelines.
- Execute on the technology roadmap for Market Intelligence by working across Internal Systems, Data Science, and Sales Ops to automate our reporting, KPIs, and insights.
- Drive competitive GTM execution by triaging deals-in-flight, bringing in the right cross-functional stakeholders, and developing a treatment plan for Stripe to win
- Contribute to product decision-making and roadmap prioritization by partnering with product operations and product management
We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply.
- 10+ years of experience in program management, sales operations, process improvement, management consulting or competitive intelligence
- 8+ years of experience building or supporting GTM programs, processes, or workflows
- A strong track record of delivering global transformational, complex programs in a changing, ambiguous environment which have delivered quantifiable business impact
- Experience working with B2B sales teams; preferably in technology, infrastructure, or platform companies
- Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication experience, influencing across all levels. You set a high-bar in terms of communication effectiveness.
- Ability to influence cross functional stakeholders to align and executive on common objectives.
This role is available either in an office or a remote location (35+ miles or 56+ km from a Stripe office).
Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.
