Senior Financial Analyst, AWS Data Center Planning & Delivery

Key Job Responsibilities

• Lead strategic financial planning and analysis for complex business initiatives
• Develop and implement financial strategies that support long-term business growth
• Build and manage relationships with senior business partners
• Provide financial oversight and guidance for major business decisions
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
• Establish and maintain robust financial controls and reporting mechanisms

Our Data Center Planning & Delivery team supports the development of new data centers for Amazon Web Services (AWS). • 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of quantitative role experience (engineering, process re‑engineering, quality assurance)
• Experience working with stakeholders
• Experience working with large‑scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
• Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
• 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
• 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
• Experience with Month End Close reporting

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
