West Monroe is seeking a Director to join our Consumer & Industrial Products (C&IP) practice within our Mergers & Acquisitions platform
, aligned to our Value Identification & Delivery capability.

This executive leader will help Private Equity firms and corporate acquirers unlock measurable value across the deal lifecycle — from diligence through post-close execution — by applying AI, advanced analytics, intelligent automation, and enterprise technology modernization to drive EBITDA impact.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, technology, and financial performance.

The Role
  • Build and expand senior-level relationships across Private Equity and corporate M&A environments
  • Originate and close new engagements
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite and investment stakeholders
  • Position AI and technology-enabled transformation as core drivers of value creation
Value Creation Delivery
  • Lead commercial and operational value identification initiatives
  • Quantify financial impact across digital, analytics, and systems opportunities
  • Align AI and modernization strategies to investment theses
  • Oversee execution of technology-enabled transformation roadmaps
  • Deliver board‑ready insights and recommendations
  • Mentor and develop high‑performing consultants and technologists
  • Strengthen integration across analytics, AI, enterprise systems, and operational transformation
  • Contribute to the growth and differentiation of the M&A value creation platform
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of consulting or industry leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience in M&A, Private Equity value creation, or transaction environments
  • Strong financial acumen, including P&L and balance sheet impact modeling
  • Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams
  • Track record of business development and revenue achievement
  • Executive communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to travel 50–70%
  • Deep understanding of AI, Machine Learning, and advanced analytics applications
  • Experience integrating enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, SCM, MES) within transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with modern data platforms and tools (Databricks, Snowflake, SQL, Python, Tableau, Power

    BI, Alteryx)
  • Ability to translate emerging technologies into practical, scalable value creation initiatives
Industry Experience
  • Consumer & Industrial Products sector expertise
  • Mid‑market manufacturing experience ($500M–$5B revenue preferred)
  • Experience driving measurable impact across supply chain, commercial effectiveness, operational performance, and systems modernization

Based on pay transparency guidelines, a reasonable expectation for the salary range for this role is listed below. Information on our competitive total rewards package, including our bonus structure and benefits is here. Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity. Employees in proximity of our Seattle, Washington DC, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco offices will have a geographic premium applied to this salary scale.

Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Eligibility for ten weeks of paid parental leave will also be available upon hire date.
