Position: Sr. Analytics Manager, Central Operations

Description

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain — and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

As a Senior Analytics Manager, you will be at the forefront of data‑driven decision‑making for one of the world’s largest and most sophisticated data center operations. You'll lead cross‑functional teams to design and implement analytics solutions that optimize performance, reduce costs, and enable strategic planning across our global footprint. This role requires a unique blend of technical program management excellence, analytics expertise, and the ability to influence senior leadership through compelling data narratives.

You will partner with engineering, operations, finance, and business intelligence teams to establish scalable analytics frameworks that support critical business decisions. Your work will directly impact how AWS plans, builds, and operates data centers that power millions of customers worldwide. This is an opportunity to shape the future of infrastructure analytics at AWS and mentor the next generation of analytics leaders.

The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, drives clarity through data, and has a proven track record of delivering complex, multi‑year programs that create measurable business value. You should be equally comfortable diving deep into technical architectures and presenting strategic insights to VP and SVP‑level audiences.
