Dhaka Technologies Limited is seeking qualified Technology Support Specialists to support a District of Columbia Government client within a Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) / Emergency Communications Center (ECC) environment.
This role is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and technical support of mission-critical systems, including radio communications and information technology infrastructure that support emergency response operations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform operation and maintenance of technology systems supporting PSAP/ECC operations, including radio and IT systems.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support for hardware and software platforms.
- Maintain and monitor system performance to ensure operational reliability.
- Support software applications used for spreadsheets, relational databases, word processing, and other operational utilities.
- Assist in planning, modeling, and evaluating system performance and enhancements.
- Gather, analyze, and present technical information in a clear and understandable format.
- Apply logical analysis and deductive reasoning toidentifyand resolve technical issues.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years of relevant professional experience supporting related technology and equipment.
- Strong knowledge of hardware and software systems relevant to PSAP/ECC operations.
- Proficiency in common productivity and data management tools, including spreadsheet and database applications.
- Working knowledge of planning and modeling techniques.
- Ability to analyze information and present findings clearly and effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and logical reasoning ability.
- Solid technical foundation in Information Technology principles and practices.
- Completion of college-level coursework in information systems or business administration preferred.
All contract personnel must comply with applicable District of Columbia government policies and procedures, including human resources and progressive discipline standards. Work is performed onsite at the designated DC government facility.
