Senior Analyst, ER & Ops Insights & Enablement Introduction to the Team

Our Corporate Functions are made up of teams that support Expedia Group, including our Global Finance Org., Traveler and Partner Service Platform, Legal Team, Strategy and Corporate Development Team, and People & Places Org.

The Sr Analyst, ER & Ops Insights & Enablement serves as the analytics and tooling engine behind our HR Operations and Employee Relations. This role combines hands‑on dashboard development, data modeling, and operational insights to improve case routing, workflow effectiveness, staffing decisions, and employee experience across HR service delivery. This role builds and maintains the tools that power real‑time visibility, forecasting, and strategic decision making across ER and HR Ops.

In

this role, you will:
  • Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards using tools such as Power

    BI, Tableau, or equivalent analytics platform to visualize case trends, operational performance, staffing needs, and employee support insights
  • Develop scalable data models and reporting pipelines that support real‑time, and cyclical business rhythms (M /Q , Leadership Reporting, etc.)
  • Automate and streamline reporting workflows, shifting manual reporting to self‑service tools for ER and HR Ops leaders
  • Partner with local teams to enhance data sources, improve integration, and align tools with automation and AI capabilities
  • Monitor case trends and operational signals, interpreting shifts in case type, volume patterns, and resolution cycles
  • Analyze automation impact, quantifying reductions in manual work, fall‑out rates, and changes in operational flow Recommendation staffing and queue strategies that balance service level expectations with available resources
  • Provide operational reporting and insights to HR Ops and ER leadership to guide decision making and prioritization
  • Partner with COEs to support automation opportunities
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Demonstrated experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent enterprise visualization tool
  • Strong proficiency in data modeling, visualization best practices, and transforming complex data into intuitive, actionable dashboards
  • Experience working with case management, HRIS, ticketing, or operations data sets (e.g. Service Now, Workday)
  • Ability to optimize datasets for performance, scalability, and ease of use across different stakeholder groups
  • Comfortable with automation‑aligned skills such as query building, workflow logic, or low‑code tooling
  • Experience in HR Operations, Employee Relations analytics, Workforce Management, or operational insights roles
  • Ability to forecast workload, analyze patterns, and quantify automation or program effectiveness
  • Strong understanding of operational metrics such as SLA, case volume, queue management, and cycle time
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across Tech, COE, and Operations teams
  • Ability to balance detail‑oriented analytical work with practical implementation of tools and reporting assets.
