The Opportunity
Adobe Customer Solutions is seeking an inspiring manager to lead a team of curriculum professionals dedicated to delivering world-class customer education experiences. Reporting to the Head of Curriculum Strategy, you will inherit and develop a group of course developers, instructional designers, and technical writers, each with unique skills and specialties. Your mission is to elevate team performance and drive operational excellence, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and inclusivity.
You will implement strategic vision, improve quality and governance, and ensure our courseware sets new standards for customer impact and business outcomes. You will collaborate with the corresponding manager to maintain alignment, uphold global standards, and advance curriculum development practices.
- Coach, mentor, and develop a diverse team to foster skill growth, accountability, and inclusive design.
- Lead curriculum strategy execution through effective project management, resource allocation, and process improvement.
- Ensure rigorous governance by upholding quality standards, benchmarks, and protocols.
- Collaborate with your counterpart and cross-functional partners to ensure consistency, share insights, and align curriculum with business goals.
- Engage with stakeholders including customers, subject matter experts, and executive sponsors to gather feedback and ensure curriculum relevance and impact.
- Champion innovation by piloting new learning technologies and formats, and lead change management efforts related to curriculum strategy, tools, and processes.
- Define, track, and report on key curriculum effectiveness metrics to demonstrate business impact and drive continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in Education, Learning Technologies, or related field.
- 5+ years leading curriculum or instructional design teams in SaaS, tech, or enterprise settings.
- Proven ability to coach and develop high-performing, diverse teams. Advanced project management and resource planning skills; experience with tools like Workfront.
- Expertise in curriculum quality assurance, governance, and process optimization.
- Strong analytical skills; skilled with data tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for measuring impact.
- Deep knowledge of adult learning theory, modern instructional methods, and emerging EdTech.
- Proficient with LMS (e.g., Adobe Learning Manager), authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate), and collaboration platforms.
- Excellent communicator and collaborator across global, cross-functional teams.
Compensation varies by U.S. geographic market and is determined by location, knowledge, skills, and experience. The U.S. pay range for this position is $113,400 – $217,425 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. In Illinois, the pay range is $127,700 - $184,850.
In Washington, the pay range is $127,200 - $184,200.
At Adobe, sales roles express starting salaries as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission); non-sales roles express starting salaries as base salary with potential short-term incentives. Some roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
