Identity and Access Management Developer, Seattle, WA (Locals highly preferred), 6 months; will extend.

Job description:

Seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, software developer to work on building and maintaining software for Forefront Identity Manager and Microsoft Identity Manager.

• Write software for the Identity and Access Management team.
• Demonstrate solid understanding of business processes and be able to map those to technical specifications.
• Write extensions for FIM and MIM.
• Assisting in maintaining the security and health status of Avanade’s systems by supporting the following tasks.

• Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies.
• Strong FIM and MIM development background.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory.
• Strong skills in C# development.
• Strong skills in Power Shell preferred.
• Strong skills in SQL Server, writing stored procedures, and basic SQL optimization.
• Ability to work with teams both onshore and offshore, using remote collaboration technologies.
• Experience in full project life cycle and application development desired.
• 3 or more years of enterprise development experience.
• Familiar with Test Driven Development practices.
• Highly motivated and organized with excellent time management and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to write business and technical reports and participate in presentations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing applications.
• Industry experiences in high-tech preferred.
