We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer II to join our dynamic data team. You will contribute to our reporting data pipelines while also supporting the development and maintenance of core processes and datasets across various business domains. In this role, you will help design, develop, and maintain our data infrastructure, particularly building scalable, efficient data models that drive essential business functions in sales, customer lifecycle, and operations.  

As a member of the team, you will work independently on projects with guidance from senior engineers while helping to develop the associated timelines and priorities. You will be expected to take ownership of assigned tasks, collaborate effectively with senior team members and business stakeholders, and continuously grow your technical expertise. ** Purpose/Impact: (Duties & Essential Functions)**## ##
** Data Pipeline Development & Reporting**
* ** Data Pipeline Support:
** Contribute to the development and maintenance of data pipelines and datasets supporting downstream reporting across multiple domains. Ensure consistent quality and timely delivery of business-critical sales, revenue, and operational data.
* ** Data Model Development:
** Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and robust data pipelines using ETL/ELT best practices in order to support business reporting needs.
* ** Domain Familiarity:
** Develop working knowledge of the company's core business data domains (e.g., sales, member attendance, revenue reporting, customer lifecycle stages), acting as a reliable contributor for data-related tasks in these areas.
** Growth & Collaboration**
* ** Task Ownership:
** Work independently on moderately complex data engineering tasks, contributing to technical solutions and taking ownership of defined tasks from development through delivery under high level supervision.
* ** Stakeholder Support:
** Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements, contributing to technical discussions to support clear data architecture solutions.
* ** Continuous Learning:
** Monitor, troubleshoot, and support data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance. Proactively develop competency in our technology stack and seek opportunities to expand knowledge of orchestration tools and data modeling best practices.
* ** Process Management:
** Maintain clear and up-to-date project status in Jira and effectively communicate progress to Technical Project Managers and team leads.
** Technical Guidance & Standards**
* ** Collaboration & Learning:
** Work with senior data engineers and peers through code reviews and pair work. Apply and evangelize best practices to improve your own work and support team quality.
** REQUIRED STRENGTHS AND BACKGROUND
*** Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics) or equivalent professional experience.
* 2-3+ years of experience contributing to data pipelines or writing SQL for data transformation in a data engineering, analytics engineering, or BI role.
* Strong SQL fundamentals with ability to write moderately complex queries including CTEs, multi-table joins, window functions, and aggregations.
* Familiarity with dimensional modeling concepts and experience working with or building data pipelines for Change Data Capture.
* Hands-on experience with at least one SQL-based data warehouse (Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query, Databricks, or similar).
* A basic understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture.## ## COMPETENCIES
