• Own a software area of strategic importance and customer impact that requires coordinating the efforts of multiple software teams.
• Own a multi-year strategy of how these multiple software systems work together to solve customer needs.
• Define long-term resource and staffing plan.
• Mediates prioritization conflicts and resource constraints with other teams.
• Work closely with functional experts such as product management, customer support, or other auxiliary business functions.
• Take on projects where the business problem and technology strategy have significant ambiguity and customer impact, and orchestrate how the team s talents can achieve that impact.

• Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• Employer will accept five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to a Bachelor s degree and three years of experience.
• Must have one year of experience in the following skills: (1) engineering team management experience; (2) experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects, and development teams; (3) experience partnering with product or program management teams.
