Job description:

As a Microsoft Lync Solutions Architect in the Infrastructure – Unified Communications group, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, and implementation of Microsoft Unified Communications (UC) solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design and implement Microsoft Unified Communications (UC) solutions.
• Ensure integration with Microsoft Exchange Unified Messaging, Office 365, PSTN gateways, IP Phones, and SCOM.
• Document architecture, deployment and troubleshooting of Lync Server including IM/presence, conferencing, enterprise voice, SIPStack tracing, etc.
• Collaborate with teams to meet Avanade’s high standard of project delivery and teamwork.

Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Lync Enterprise Voice (EV) deployments.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft solutions:
  Lync, AD, database, Exchange/Calendaring.
• Very strong knowledge of Exchange Server 2007+, Active Directory, DNS, and networking.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Expert-level architectural, deployment, and troubleshooting knowledge of Lync Server.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Proficiency in integrating with SCOM.
