Team Introduction

The Global Payment team provides payment and financial solutions to ensure that users have a smooth and secure payment experience across our platforms and services.

• Responsible for requirements analysis, product planning, functional design, and project management of systems such as DMP, Label Platform, User Profile Platform, and Data Analysis Platform
• Responsible for the access and analysis of core internal and external data within the company, mining user characteristics and labels based on business growth goals, and promoting the practical application of data in Byte Dance's payment business
• Continuously improve the quality of features/labels/profiles based on the effectiveness feedback from business parties/models
• Through in-depth understanding of business, conduct business data governance, unify data definitions, build a core metrics system and an effectiveness monitoring system, and achieve data collection and effectiveness analysis for growth experiments

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above, with a background in Data Science, Data Mining, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science
• 5+ years of work experience in fields such as data platform, Data Analysis, and data mining
• Good at communication, with outstanding execution, logical thinking, and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Candidates with a deep understanding of the combination of models/recommendations and data, and experience in managing related platform products such as business overview, DMP platform, user profile, etc., are preferred
• Good Data Analysis and business analysis skills, proficiency in using Excel/SQL/Python is a plus
• Entrepreneurial mindset, able to handle rapid changes and imperfect current situations
• Bonus:
  Have a deep understanding of the payment or financial industry

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $199500 - $393300 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
