AWS Supply Chain is seeking a highly effective candidate to design and implement innovative solutions that deliver the best operating and lowest cost infrastructure in the world. This individual will own the relationship with AWS’s most strategic partners, those designing and manufacturing cutting‑edge generative AI solutions, compute, storage and networking hardware. As the commercial head of this relationship, you own cost, performance, contracting and strategy.

You will influence and partner with cross functional teams including hardware engineering, supply chain, quality, lifecycle management, operations, compliance and sustainability.

A successful candidate will have experience managing complex, strategic, large scale commercial relationships. They will combine a strong knowledge of supply chains with a proven ability to manage negotiations, program manage cross‑functional teams and effectively operate at all levels of the organization, including to senior executives.

• Function as the single threaded relationship manager for a strategic supply partner that provides design, development, manufacturing and integration services for AWS servers and server rack integration.
• Matrix manage all aspects of supplier performance including cost, quality, capacity, delivery, compliance, sustainability and overall supply strategy.
• Negotiate and execute complex supplier agreements, statements of work and other contracts by working with cross‑functional leads.
• Partner with cross functional teams to deliver RFPs, evaluate vendor responses and align on business awards.
• Deliver AWS’s cost objectives through detailed understanding of all cost drivers and bill of material reviews.
• Develop and successfully negotiate sourcing strategies that align with business objectives while maintaining a sustainable relationship with suppliers.
• Inform and influence senior leadership about business status, risk and opportunities via written narratives.
• Manage vendor escalations and provide executive level updates as required.
• Prepare and present detailed data‑driven business reviews with senior management, focused on procurement/sourcing execution and continuity of supply.
• Identify key technology trends in the industry and drive supplier product roadmaps that align with AWS’s technical development and manufacturing initiatives.
