As a Technology Risk professional, you will assess and address client issues such as business performance variability, cybersecurity risk management, cybersecurity resilience, application security integrity, and IT risk management. You will belong to a network of specialists helping clients transform risk functions and support cybersecurity assurance solutions that enable risk management and governance.
The opportunityAs our Technology Risk practice expands, we are seeking a highly motivated Manager focused on cybersecurity risk and controls and technology enablement. You will manage client engagement teams, deliver professional services, and drive business development on strategic and global priority accounts.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Provide technical and project leadership to team members while building relationships with clients, monitoring progress, managing risks, and keeping stakeholders informed.
- Foster an innovative and inclusive team‑oriented work environment and mentor junior consultants.
- Deliver high‑quality client services and work products within expected time frames and budgets.
- Use knowledge of current IT environments and industry trends to identify engagement and client issues and communicate findings through written and verbal presentations.
- Develop client relationships to analyze, evaluate, and improve information systems and security at procedural and technical levels.
- Cultivate and manage business‑development opportunities, understanding EY’s service lines and assessing client needs.
- Demonstrate deep technical capabilities, professional knowledge, and the ability to assimilate new knowledge quickly.
Leverage proven technology and cybersecurity experience with strong project‑management skills to lead client engagement teams and provide technical leadership in assessing, designing, and implementing controls, security, and cybersecurity risk solutions.
To qualify for the role, you must have- A bachelor’s or master’s degree and approximately five years of related work experience.
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity risk management, core cybersecurity fundamentals, and internal controls.
- Advanced project‑management and client‑service skills with excellent leadership and teaming abilities.
- Ability to train, coach, and manage staff.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% nationally and internationally; a valid driver’s license in the U.S. and a valid passport are required.
- Experience assessing cybersecurity risk‑management programs and familiarity with NIST CSF 2.0, NIST 800‑53, ISO 27001, or SANS CSC.
- Industry‑related certification required (e.g., CISSP, CISA); non‑certified hires must obtain certification within one year of hire.
- Passionate leaders with a strong vision, a desire to stay current on cybersecurity trends, and the ability to lead businesses toward leading‑practice risk and control functions.
