Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and recommend security solutions; drive integration of security controls into applications and cloud services using product security assessments and automation techniques.
- Optimize deployment and scalability of security tools; introduce scalable processes across Product Security capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional IT stakeholders to troubleshoot security issues and define security controls for information security compliance programs (GDPR, NIST, CIS).
- Provide software, network security and vulnerability management; maintain current insights into standard security regulations, policies and procedures.
- Maintain documentation for product project and program strategies, security SOPs and standards.
- Use Agile, Scrum and Kanban methodologies to reduce attack surface and improve security engagement.
- Drive logging and alerting requirements across the organization; identify security violations and deficiencies through audit activity and monitoring.
- Use tools such as Cloud Guard, Archer, and Gitlab for cloud‑based services and multi‑cloud infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot, respond to and resolve Product Security events and incidents; deploy Lambdas to process security logging, alerts and notifications.
- Use Python, Java and JavaScript to assist Product Engineering teams in code review and in building or modifying security tools.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or a closely related field (Bachelor’s acceptable with 5+ years progressive experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Security‑related roles, including application security (code review, IAM policies, threat modeling).
- Experience with security tool deployments in Git‑based CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of GDPR, NIST and CIS frameworks and compliance.
- Familiarity with cloud security tooling and multi‑cloud architecture.
- Proficiency in Python, Java and JavaScript.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally and use Agile methodologies.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary $168,000 – $185,000, plus bonus/commission if applicable. Benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave and more. Salary may vary based on location, market data, skills, and certifications.
