We are looking for an experienced QA tech to drive manual and automated testing within Prime Video Playback services across a broad technology stack. In this role, you will contribute significantly to the future of the Prime Video playback experience on Live Sports, Movies and TV Shows. You will work with QA Engineers, SDEs, SDETs, Product Management, and UX designers to understand features, technical implementation and customer usage models, then develop test plans and suites that approximate real‑world environments and support regression testing.

You will execute both manual and automated tests against customer‑facing features and choose scalable, highly available technologies to help solve complex quality‑assurance problems.

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for new features and product releases.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify, document, and resolve software defects.
• Execute, debug, and maintain automated tests on iOS, Android, Web, and Living Room Clients to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Actively participate in retrospectives and contribute to process improvements to enhance overall product quality.

Playback Testing Solutions maintains the quality of the Prime Video Playback experience across all player types and technology stacks. We operate multiple test labs for both manual and automated testing, engage in testing the most critical features and product launches, and directly improve the viewing experience of millions of Amazon customers daily.

• 2+ years of software QA testing work with writing test plans, use cases, and issue reports.
• 1+ year of experience executing software test automation, debugging failures, and triaging results.

• Experience in a consumer electronics lab environment.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $45,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $100,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
