Job Description & How to Apply Below
Amazon Photos is seeking a passionate, inventive product manager to lead Photos experiences on Alexa+. You’ll shape how customers rediscover and manage their memories with natural language and AI‑powered organization and curation across Echo Show, Fire TV, mobile, and future Alexa‑enabled devices. You will build a proactive, emotionally intelligent personal‑memories companion for families.
Responsibilities
• Own the vision & roadmap for Photos on Alexa+: define the customer promise, 12‑24 month plan, and success metrics.
• Design multimodal experiences that blend voice, touch, and display.
• Ship cross‑device coherence: start on Echo Show and seamlessly continue on mobile or Fire TV.
• Partner across Alexa domains to deliver simple, exceptional cross‑domain moments.
• Lead with a trust and privacy‑first approach.
• Collaborate deeply with engineering, applied science, UXR, and design to product ionize natural‑language/LLM‑powered features.
• Measure & learn: define & instrument success criteria; run A/B tests and experiments.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery: strategy → spec → launch → iteration; write PR/FAQs and tenets; drive alignment across partner teams.
Who you are
• A product craftsperson who turns insights into simple, lovable experiences.
• A human‑focused inventor who dives deep into behaviors via data and anecdotes.
• A data‑driven experimenter comfortable with A/B testing and qualitative studies.
• A technical PM who can navigate architecture, APIs, and trade‑offs.
• A trusted partner who owns relationships with senior stakeholders across the Devices & Services organization.
A day in the life
• Blend Music + Photos so birthday playlists trigger ambient photo moments.
• Start a conversational search on Echo Show and pick up on mobile.
• Enable household‑aware sharing via voice.
• Define flagship voice flows for new devices.
• Set moderation standards for sensitive content.
Basic Qualifications
• 2+ years of end‑to‑end product delivery experience.
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions.
• Experience owning roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience managing technical products or online services.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlik View, Quick Sight.
• Experience building and driving adoption of new tools.
• Experience in consumer product management.
