The
Sr. Manager, Data Integrity and Quality will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of data across Virtuoso’s Data Lake. This position will support the strategic direction and execution of data integrity and quality initiatives, working closely with relevant departments to maintain high standards of data trust.The Sr. Manager, Data Integrity & Quality must be able to identify and evaluate data issues, including if they are isolated or systemic, provide input on prioritization through problem and impact analyses, document requirements, and drive the implementation of solutions. This position is hands‑on and requires very good understanding of data transfer and data mapping and the ability to manage relationships with Virtuoso members and internal teams.
The successful Sr. Data Integrity & Quality Manager must stay abreast of Virtuoso business processes and requirements affecting data, as well as standards, trends and issues affecting their set of responsibilities, and demonstrate continuous learning.
- Data Trust Initiatives:
Collaborate on the tracking, implementation and oversight of data quality and integrity initiatives from data acquisition to ingestion to rest in Virtuoso’s Data Lakehouse. - Data Lineage:
Track data flow and transformations for specific data issues to understand the root cause based on the origin and evolution of the data to ensure data integrity. - Backlog Management:
Efficiently track, investigate, and manage data integrity and quality related issues including financial impact, prioritization, and resolution. - Data Analysis:
Analyze data issues directly using readily available reports, custom‑built Snowflake and/or SQL data queries and collaboration with relevant teams and stakeholders to identify root causes and financial impact. - Requirements Management:
Write requirements documentation for data integrity and quality issues identified, to be shared with the Data Engineering team for implementation. - Auditing and Monitoring:
Help drive and maintain mechanisms to actively audit and monitor data integrity and quality throughout the data lifecycle, ensuring that data is accurate, reliable, and can be used effectively to drive business decisions and operational efficiency. - Data Compliance:
Maintain data integrity and confidentiality in compliance with data privacy standards such as GDPR. - Cross‑Departmental
Collaboration:
Collaborate with the Data Engineering, Data Services, Product, and Data & Analysis teams to ensure data integrity and quality as it flows through the systems. - Stakeholder
Collaboration:
Work with stakeholders, including primary data consumers, to identify, evaluate and prioritize data quality and integrity issues in the context of Virtuoso’s business. - Customer Interactions:
Interface directly with internal stakeholder customers, Virtuoso Members, and Virtuoso Tech Partners to gain a deep understanding of their data issues as it relates to the Virtuoso ecosystem. - Strategic Mindset:
Bring a strategic and product mindset to end‑to‑end data quality and integrity efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field;
