Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex data sets using Microsoft technology stack to derive actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards using tools like Power BI, SQL Server, and Excel.
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis and generate reports to support business decision-making.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data analytics and Microsoft technologies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior analysts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of professional experience in the software industry, with a focus on data analysis.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft technology stack (e.g., Power BI, SQL Server, Excel).
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and database design.
- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work on-site in Seattle, WA.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based data solutions (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse).
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
