Senior Manager, Product Management – Data Products Introduction to the Team

The Product Team creates high-quality end-to-end experiences for travelers, partners, and Expedia Group. Our customer-first mindset focuses on developing products that encourage loyalty and repeat business from our travelers and partners. We partner closely with teams across Expedia Group to achieve growth and results for our customers and company.

As a Senior Manager leading Data Products, you will set the vision, strategy, and roadmap for a suite of data products that power next-generation personalization, communications, targeting, and analytics across Expedia Group. You will build and scale a team of Product Managers, partner with engineers and business stakeholders, and work at the forefront of our data-driven transformation. Your work will be pivotal to enabling data-driven decision-making and innovation, directly contributing to best-in-class travel experiences worldwide.

In

this role, you will:
  • Lead the vision, roadmap, and execution for customer data products
  • Mentor and grow a team of product managers, fostering a culture of ownership and collaboration
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure alignment, delivery, and measurable impact
  • Partner with data producers and consumers to define scalable, domain-aligned data products
  • Demonstrate technical fluency by writing and decomposing SQL, analyzing customer data, and engaging directly with data pipelines and systems when needed
  • Translate complex business needs into clear product requirements and outcomes
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics) or equivalent practical experience
  • 6+ years of product management experience, including work on data platforms or data products
  • Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and modern data technologies
  • Experience managing other product managers
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s or PhD in a technical field
  • Hands‑on experience with real-time data systems, APIs, and streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis)
  • Proven ability to drive alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders
