Customer Support Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Customer Support Engineer for a Contract with a client in Seattle, WA
. The role involves providing technical support and resolving issues related to GE e-terra DMS products including DMS, OMS, Storm Assist, and DER.

Rate Range: $70/hour to $85/hour. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Provide technical support and resolve issues related to GE e-terra DMS products, including DMS, OMS, Storm Assist, and DER.
• Troubleshoot and isolate problems involving SCADA systems, networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, Active Directory), and electrical grid modeling tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to strategize solutions, prevent recurrence of issues, and ensure compliance with change control protocols.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, case notes, and contribute to the Knowledge Base for customer-specific issues.
• Mentor team members in troubleshooting methods and act as a technical resource for complex problem resolution.
• Ensure customer success and satisfaction by fostering strong relationships and delivering high-quality support in stressful situations.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science.
• Minimum 5+ years in customer support or technical support roles within the energy or utility domain.
• Direct experience installing, maintaining, or supporting GE e-terra DMS products (DMS, OMS, Storm Assist, DER).
• Strong knowledge of SCADA systems, networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, Active Directory), and electrical grid operations (Transmission & Distribution).
