Aboutthe Role
Platform Engineer
Key Responsibilities- In-depth working experience in a Dev Ops culture; one or more public cloud experience (Azure, AWS, GCP etc.), one or more Dev Ops, Orchestration/Configuration Management and Continuous Integration technology (i.e., Docker/Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, ELK stack, Splunk etc.)
- Hands on coding requirement
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in RDBMS and No
SQL i.e., Cassandra - Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in data streaming platform i.e., Kafka
- Ability to execute design principles of cohesively build and operate secure, durable, flexible, accessible solutions. Requires an understanding of relevant development languages, tools, frameworks, utilities, and technical dependencies.
- Automation Frameworks:
Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, or similar technologies - Ability to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes to ensure compliance with company Cloud governance and Global Cyber Security standards.
- Fluency in any of the scripting languages such as Python, Shell scripting, or Power Shell.
- Python (Coding)
- Experience implementing security controls, encryption mechanisms, and access management strategies within automated workflows to ensure compliance with Global Cyber Security standards.
- Expertise in various architecture design patterns such as microservices, serverless, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and automated testing frameworks.
Location: Seattle, WA 98134
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $140,000 - $155,000 annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
