Job Overview
Data Scientist, Creative Excellence – Ipsos seeks a seasoned data scientist to support the development and evolution of Creative Spark AI, an AI‑enabled capability that predicts and explains ad performance across TV, digital, social, and other media channels. The role involves designing, testing, and deploying machine learning models, experimenting with new product ideas, and translating research into actionable insights for client teams.
Key Responsibilities- Feature and Model Development – design, engineer, and test new model variants from survey, coded, or digital data sources; integrate new features into experimental models and quantify their impact on prediction accuracy, robustness, and interpretability.
- Experimentation, Evaluation & Documentation – design experiments and benchmarks, apply appropriate evaluation metrics (accuracy, AUC, RMSE, calibration, stability), maintain clear experiment logs, and document results for reproducibility.
- Product Innovation – advocate for and own new products and solutions that grow incremental revenue, translate business and research questions into modeling problems, and collaborate with product teams to develop AI, Gen AI, and survey‑based solutions.
- Stakeholder Engagement – present model results and recommendations in clear, non‑technical language, support client‑facing presentations, and contribute to internal training and knowledge sharing.
- Education: Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Econometrics, or related field;
PhD is a plus. - Experience: 7‑10 years as a data scientist in applied machine learning, hands‑on supervised model building, product management or technical lead roles a plus, and prior exposure to marketing, advertising, media, or predictive modeling on survey or panel data.

Strong proficiency in Python, pandas, Num Py, scikit‑learn, and optional Tensor Flow/PyTorch/Cat Boost/XGBoost; SQL and large analytical datasets; core ML concepts (feature engineering, regularization, model selection, cross‑validation, bias, overfitting, drift); experience with NLP or computer vision on creatives, GCP, MLOps tools (MLflow, model registries, CI/CD for ML). - Analytical and problem‑solving skills, business acumen, excellent communication, autonomy, and a collaborative mindset.
