Product Manager III – Search Team Introduction to the Team:

Join our Search team to help shape the future of search experiences across our platform. We’re building scalable, high‑performance systems that enable customers to discover the right products quickly and effortlessly. As a Product Manager III, you’ll work closely with engineering, data science, and design teams to deliver innovative search capabilities that improve relevance, personalization, and overall user experience.

In this role, you will:
  • Own key components of the Search roadmap, focusing on improving relevance and ranking.
  • Define and deliver features that enhance search quality and performance across multiple products and markets.
  • Collaborate with machine learning teams to integrate models for ranking and personalization into production systems.
  • Partner with UX and API teams to ensure seamless integration and consistent experiences.
  • Monitor industry trends in search technologies (e.g., semantic search, vector search) and identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear requirements and prioritize initiatives based on impact.
  • Work cross‑functionally to resolve dependencies and align stakeholders on product vision and goals.
  • Use data‑driven insights to inform decisions and measure success of search improvements.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in search, e-commerce, or large‑scale consumer platforms.
  • Ability to work with technical teams and understand concepts like APIs, data pipelines, and ML model integration.
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful features in complex, cross‑functional environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of search systems, ranking algorithms, or recommendation engines.
  • Experience with personalization, semantic search, or vector‑based retrieval.
  • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and their application in search.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Background in marketplaces, travel, or other high‑volume consumer platforms.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $ to $. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
