Job Summary:

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is one of Amazon’s fastest growing businesses, dedicated to innovating on behalf of customers and tackling problems  AWS Proactive Security Team is seeking a motivated engineer to design and build workflows and backend engines that enhance customer security and support AWS product teams in developing secure code.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and deliver first party Software Solutions for AWS Security programs

• Provide software development expertise in support of AWS Security

• Directly represent the team to business leader and technical staff at all levels of the company

• Demonstrate “exceptional” judgment, integrity, business acumen, and communication skills.

• Prepare and present detailed, written technical information for internal and external audiences.

Qualifications:

Required:

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

• 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred:

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
