Senior Content Acquisition Manager – Studios & Networks, US TVOD, Prime Video

Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios are looking for a seasoned Content Acquisition Manager to lead strategic partnerships and licensing negotiations across major U.S. studios, television networks, and independent distributors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic licensing negotiations with major Hollywood studios, television networks, and independent distributors.
  • Own P&L responsibility for assigned partnerships, including financial modeling, forecasting, and performance optimization.
  • Drive development and launch of new TVOD features and growth opportunities, working cross-functionally with Product, Tech, and Operations.
  • Establish and nurture executive-level relationships across the entertainment industry.
  • Orchestrate release windows and promotional strategies that maximize value across diverse content types.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy, collaborating with Marketing, Merchandising, and Amazon Advertising teams.
  • Develop data‑driven insights to optimize partner performance and customer experience across different content verticals.
  • Shape strategic roadmap for TVOD innovation and growth initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years of account management, business development, content licensing or finance experience.
  • Experience with Excel.
  • Experience with end‑to‑end ownership of major project deliverables.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of digital video landscape, including solid understanding of digital video distribution technologies.
  • Experience with digital products and interactive entertainment.
  • Strong understanding of content windowing strategies across different types of programming.
