Prime Video is seeking a creative, savvy and analytically‑minded digital content executive to join the content acquisition team as a Sr. Content Insight Analyst. This analyst will perform quantitative and qualitative analyses in support of our SVOD, TVOD, AVOD content licensing activities with major studios and major TV network groups for Prime Video and Prime Video Direct in the US and in international locales.

The ideal candidate is a critical thinker with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities, remains calm under pressure, can analyze large data sets to discover insights, and can clearly and concisely communicate thoughts and ideas, both written and verbally, while operating in a fast‑paced environment and thinking outside the scope of their direct responsibility.

job responsibilities
  • Strong experience in writing SQL queries, building Quicksight dashboards, and superior Excel skills.
  • Write high‑quality, detailed and data‑supported content strategy documents presented to senior executives within Amazon Studios.
  • Audit business metrics, perform deep dive analysis on problems to understand root causes and make decisions based on data.
  • Partner with internal Finance/Content Analytics teams to continually improve internal tools, processes, and models used to assess and predict the customer engagement value of different licensed content.
  • Quantify the impact that different TV series and/or movies will have on customer engagement in the US and/or in international locales.
  • Perform ongoing analyses supporting Prime Video’s day‑to‑day content planning and licensing activities with major studios and major TV network groups.
  • Maintain a can‑do attitude and flexibility to solve problems on short notice using any necessary tools.
About the team

This team sits at the heart of Prime Video’s licensing business and has ownership/insights across all Prime Video business lines (SVOD, TVOD, AVOD, etc) and all territories. You will be joining a team with high visibility to Prime Video leadership and high impact to the business.

Basic qualifications
  • Knowledge of database query technologies (SQL)
  • Experience with Excel
  • Knowledge of the digital video landscape, including a solid understanding of digital video distribution technologies
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
Preferred qualifications
  • MBA
  • 7+ years of account management, business development, content licensing or finance experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $189,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
