We're looking for a proven Senior Manager, PM-T to lead the product vision, strategy, roadmap, innovation and execution of one or more products that keeps Amazon business compliant with sanctions laws. Our ideal candidate will have a deep product management background, experience in owning products with high impact and defining short and long-term product strategy and vision. The candidate should possess strong business acumen with strategic, analytical, and critical thinking, and drive strategic communications across organizations to provide clarity in decisions.

They should understand the product and software life cycle to drive teams towards business solutions.

• Own the product strategy, roadmap, and requirements to shape and invent our product offering.
• Work backwards from the customers and set multi-year product vision.
• Establish product strategy, goals and investment plans.
• Oversee product development, including research, requirements definition, metrics analysis, and launch efforts.
• Work closely with engineering, design, machine learning science, and operations in an agile environment to deliver products to customers.
• Influence stakeholders and senior leaders through strong written communication skills.

Our mission is to prevent sanctioned entities from transacting with Amazon businesses. We build a real-time screening platform to detect and prevent prohibited transactions with sanctioned entities using complex custom-built matching algorithms leveraging machine learning. We screen over a billion events every day, integrate with tier-1 systems, and build an ML-powered detection and resolution framework to help scale Amazon for years to come.

• 6+ years of team management experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

• Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $178,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
