Description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Full Lifecycle Recruiter to join our AWS Database & Analytics recruiting team. You will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top‑tier technical talent for our rapidly growing database and analytics services.
Key Responsibilities- Full‑Cycle Recruiting:
Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for senior and principal‑level engineers, data scientists, and technical leaders across AWS database and analytics services (e.g., RDS, Dynamo
DB, Redshift, EMR, Athena, Glue) - Strategic Sourcing:
Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to build diverse pipelines of passive candidates - Stakeholder Management:
Partner with hiring managers, engineering leaders, and cross‑functional teams to understand technical requirements and team dynamics - Candidate
Experience:
Deliver exceptional candidate experience throughout the interview process, serving as a trusted advisor - Market Intelligence:
Provide data‑driven insights on talent market trends, compensation bench‑marking, and competitive landscape - Process Improvement:
Drive recruiting metrics, optimize hiring processes, and implement best practices - Diversity & Inclusion:
Champion inclusive hiring practices and build diverse candidate pipelines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- 5+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience
- 7+ years of full‑cycle technical recruiting experience
- 5+ years recruiting for software engineering, distributed systems, or data engineering roles
- Proven track record of filling senior and principal‑level technical positions
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools
- Strong understanding of database technologies, cloud computing, and analytics platforms
- Experience building candidate sourcing and closing strategies
- Experience recruiting for AWS, Azure, GCP, or other major cloud providers
- Background in recruiting for big data, machine learning, or distributed systems roles
- Demonstrated success building diverse technical teams
- Experience managing high requisition loads (15–20+ open roles)
- Strong data analysis skills and experience with recruiting metrics
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
