The Opportunity with McKinstry:

McKinstry is seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to join our Talent Acquisition team in Seattle, WA. This is a strategic, full‑time role responsible for partnering with business leaders to attract, engage, and hire top talent across engineering, construction, technical, and corporate functions.

This role serves as a trusted advisor to leaders and HR partners, helping shape workforce strategy while delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Talent Partnership
  • Partner with business leaders and HR partners to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies.
  • Build deep understanding of assigned business groups, workforce plans, and critical skill needs.
  • Provide market intelligence and hiring insights to support workforce decisions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on recruiting best practices and talent trends.
  • Influence hiring decisions through data‑driven recommendations.
Recruiting & Talent Delivery
  • Source, recruit, interview, and hire top talent across technical and professional disciplines.
  • Build and maintain strong talent networks within industry‑specific communities.
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract high‑quality candidates.
  • Maintain a constant and steady focus on the marketplace and report market intelligence.
  • Manage full‑cycle recruiting from intake through offer and close.
  • Lead offer negotiations and ensure strong candidate acceptance outcomes.
  • Partner closely with our HRBP team and Compensation team to ensure internal and market equity.
  • Communicate McKinstry's employment value proposition effectively to candidates.
  • Maintain accurate recruiting data and workflows within the Applicant Tracking System.
Innovation & Process Improvement
  • Leverage AI‑enabled recruiting tools and technologies to improve sourcing effectiveness, candidate engagement, and recruiting efficiency.
  • Utilize AI‑assisted search strategies, talent insights, and workflow automation to enhance hiring outcomes.
  • Develop and implement improvements to recruiting processes and candidate experience.
  • Create advanced search strategies including Boolean and data‑driven sourcing techniques.
  • Drive measurable improvements in hiring quality, speed, and experience.
Talent Pipeline Development
  • Build long‑term talent pipelines aligned to future workforce needs.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry groups and talent communities.
  • Support employer branding and recruiting marketing initiatives.
  • Mentor and support developing recruiters as needed.
