This is a contract role providing services to Amazon through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by a contract staffing supplier and will not be an employee of Amazon.
This position serves as a strategic partner in building and maintaining a talented workforce through comprehensive talent acquisition and employee lifecycle management. The role encompasses the full spectrum of human resources functions, from identifying and securing top talent to ensuring smooth transitions throughout employment changes. Working with considerable autonomy and leveraging extensive industry knowledge, this professional will shape recruitment strategies, foster positive candidate experiences, and maintain organizational culture through critical touchpoints in the employee journey.
The position requires sophisticated judgment in evaluating candidates, making employment decisions, and providing guidance on complex personnel matters while collaborating with department leaders to meet evolving staffing needs.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for various positions
- Conduct thorough reference checks and background verifications to ensure candidate suitability
- Extend employment offers and negotiate terms with selected candidates
- Design and deliver comprehensive new employee orientation programs to facilitate smooth onboarding
- Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and identify trends in employee departures
- Process and document all employee status changes including promotions, transfers, and terminations
- Lead and mentor junior team members in recruitment and HR administration best practices
- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates
- Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing requirements and organizational goals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Expert knowledge of recruitment methodologies and talent acquisition strategies
- Strong interviewing and candidate assessment capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with candidates and stakeholders
- Advanced decision-making abilities based on comprehensive evaluation criteria
