This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations. The Employee Listening Principal role sits within Human Resources as part of Blue Origin's corporate functions, providing centralized support across all Blue Origin functions, and locations. As part of a hardworking team of HR professionals, you will share in the team s impact on all aspects of the Employee Experience and strengthening our culture.

Reporting to the VP of Talent, Culture, and Total Rewards, you will partner with cross-functional teams to shape and manage Blue Origin s Employee Listening strategy and programs. You will own the design of scalable listening mechanisms and deliver actionable insights that inform decision-making and drive high performance and ensuring a closed loop on all identified company actions. You will oversee high-visibility global listening programs, including quarterly Pulse Surveys, always-on listening mechanisms, and qualitative research, and act as a subject matter expert for survey science, research design, advanced analytics, and listening technology, reporting, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Program Leadership
  • Develop and execute a scalable, agile employee listening strategy, aligned with broader talent and business objectives.
  • Manage enterprise-wide listening programs, including Pulse, Lifecycle surveys, and a mechanism to gather feedback from external platforms such as Reddit.
  • Architect frameworks for employee listening in partnership with Talent, Culture and Total Rewards, People Technology, and Legal/Privacy stakeholders.
  • Stay current with industry trends, consortia participation, vendor offerings, and best practices, evolving the listening strategy accordingly.
Survey & Research Design
  • Design, implement, and analyze surveys and other feedback mechanisms.
  • Scale qualitative research approaches (focus groups, interviews) and partner on deep-dive sentiment projects across the business.
  • Serve as an internal expert on survey platforms, authoring and distributing surveys, and industry benchmarking.
Insight Delivery & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Analyze employee feedback, identify trends, and create dashboards, reports, and presentations as needed for stakeholders.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations, partnering with business leaders to drive change and measure impact, and conducting a quarterly review.
  • Coordinate with teams across the People team and other functions to define sentiment measurement objectives and synthesize holistic insights.
  • Support advanced analytics projects, where applicable.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Partner with People Technology, People Analytics, Ferociter, HR Business Partners, Internal Communications, and other teams to ensure integrated data sources, holistic insights, and closed loop actions are delivered to internal stakeholders and user groups.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in employee listening, people analytics, or quantitative HR functions, including 4+ years of listening-related project management.
  • Proven track record in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale employee listening programs in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Master s degree in industrial/organizational psychology or a related field preferred.
  • Deep technical expertise in survey and qualitative research methodologies, psychometrics, and construct/content validation.
  • Proficiency in survey platforms and analytics/BI tools (Power

    BI, Databricks, Python); experience with SPSS, R, or similar.
  • Experience using Natural Language Processing for qualitative analysis is a plus.
