Catering Event Coordinator

Foodz Catering is seeking an experienced Senior Event Service Coordinator to step into a key leadership role on our team. This position oversees event logistics after booking, manages the coordination team, and leads onsite execution for select events.

This is a senior-level role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced catering environment and can balance client service, operational detail, and team leadership.

• Manage and mentor the Event Service Coordination team
• Participate in a weekly coordination meeting to review upcoming events lead by the Sales Director
• Distribute events based on workload and complexity
• Ensure consistency in timelines, documentation, and service plans

• Serve as primary client contact after contract execution
• Confirm guest counts, menus, rentals, layouts, and timelines
• Prepare detailed service plans and staff notes
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Culinary, and Operations
• Act as Event Lead for select programs
• Direct chefs, servers, bartenders, and support staff
• Serve as primary onsite contact for clients and venues
• Manage event flow and problem-solve in real time

• 4+ years in catering, hospitality, or event management
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
• Experience interpreting BEOs and event rentals needed
