Location: We are seeking a Laundry Attendant at T-Mobile Park, home of the Seattle Mariners.

Job Type: Part-time Seasonal

* This position follows the Seattle Mariners' home-game schedule from March through September. Work from October to February is not guaranteed and is based on business needs and union seniority.

Union Status: Union

* This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement with UNITEHERE Local 8.

Work Location: In person

Pay: $26.50 per hour

Principle Function:

The Laundry Attendant washes and folds uniforms for events and maintains clean uniforms for upcoming events. The Laundry Attendant will check uniforms in and out to staff, keeping track of who needs to turn in uniforms. The Laundry Attendant must follow instructions given by office management.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that all uniforms are kept neat and orderly.
• Washing and folding of uniforms to ensure clean uniforms are ready for events.
• Checking out uniforms to staff using a computer-based program.
• Ensuring that all uniforms are checked back in at the end of an event.
• Cleaning the uniform room (e.g. cleaning of lint traps, trash removal, etc.).
• Maintaining a clean, neat, and safe workplace.
• Following the safety rules and company policies.
• Interacting harmoniously with co-workers in a diverse workforce.
• Performing other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications/

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Must have good organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Other requirements include but are not limited to:

• Subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds in weight.

Hours are often extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
