The Embassy Suites has 282 guest rooms and nearly 15,000 square feet of event space. They are steps away from football and soccer games at Lumen Field and less than a half mile from baseball at T-Mobile Park. Ideal Candidate Requirements
  • 2 years minimum customer service experience preferably within hospitality, food and beverage
  • 2 years supervisory experience
  • 3 years experience within food and beverage preferred.
  • Previous experience in high-volume fast‑paced environments
  • Previous experience writing schedules, managing inventory and placing orders, and record keeping
  • The ability to work a varied and flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills
  • Proactive nature and strong team first mentality
  • Previous experience managing in a union environment highly preferred
  • Previous hotel and restaurant experience highly preferred

Shift Pattern:
Mornings starting as early as 5:30am, ability to flex and work other shifts as business needs require

What will I be doing?

As an Assistant Manager of Food and Beverage, you would be responsible for assisting in the daily management of activities and services of all hotel food and beverage operations (kitchens, restaurants, banquets, lounges, room service, coffee shops, etc.) in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standard:

Assist in the management of all Food and Beverage operations to include, but not limited to, guest service, food and beverage quality, inventory management, outlet reservations and occupancy, systems management, budget and forecasting, marketing, report generation, department management and meeting participation and facilitation

Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation and monitor cost and portion controls
