Maintenance | Laundry Mechanic ($41.70/hour)

Join us for an incredible opportunity to be a part of our maintenance team as a Laundry Mechanic. The Laundry Mechanic will support a multi‑property hotel cluster comprised of Hyatt at Olive 8 and Hyatt Regency Seattle. You will perform repairs and preventive maintenance on laundry and other mechanical equipment within our two properties.

Strong knowledge in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing large commercial laundry equipment is required. Good communication skills, shift coverage responsibility, and open availability are preferred. Prior engineering/maintenance experience in a hotel environment is required, with a minimum of 5 years of experience and trade school or factory training preferred.

Hourly rate range: $41.70/hour to $42.53/hour, starting at $41.70/hour. Colleagues who have remained in the position for four years or more are offered $42.53/hour.

Qualifications

• Open scheduling availability including evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays preferred
• Minimum 5 years of related experience preferred
• Previous hotel maintenance experience preferred
• Trade school and factory training preferred
• True desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast‑paced environment
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
• Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 50 pounds)
• Team player but able to work independently
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments
• Valid driver’s license preferred
