Job DescriptionThe role is energetic and driven, requiring strong multitasking skills. It involves prospecting new business, responding to inquiries, and managing the full lifecycle of catering events—from initial detailing to on‑site servicing. Key responsibilities include preparing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), drafting contracts and overseeing billing to ensure a seamless client experience.
Responsibilities- Develop market segments and solicit new customer relationships.
- Negotiate business through proposals and contracts to close deals.
- Design menus and events to maximize revenue and event experience.
- Maintain existing relationships with corporate and social accounts.
- Foster internal relationships to ensure consistent, high‑level service across pre‑event, event and post‑event phases.
- Direct event logistics to affected departments and team members responsible for event execution.
- Serve as the primary contact for client experience.
- Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals.
- Communicate timely with internal and external clients via phone, email or in person.
- Resolve conflicts, negotiate complaints and settle disputes.
- Sell and influence internal and external clients.
- Make data‑driven decisions and solve problems by analyzing issues.
- Ensure high quality service by coaching and guiding others.
- Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary.
- Perform other duties as necessary based on business needs.
- Maintain regular attendance.
- At least one year of catering sales experience, preferably within hotel operations.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams.
- Experience working with Delphi, Amadeus or comparable sales and catering management systems.
- Strong multitasking, communication and negotiation skills.
- Passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership and urgency.
Salary range: $30.00–$32.00 per hour plus bonus incentives based on experience and location.
Short‑Term Incentive Plan (SIP) – quarterly component worth 20 % of bonus‑eligible earnings, with objectives that can yield multiple payouts.
