We are seeking a dedicated and patient-centered Mammography Technologist to join our high-volume outpatient breast imaging team. This role plays a key part in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease by performing a variety of specialized radiological procedures with precision and compassion.
The ideal candidate will consistently produce high-quality radiographic images while ensuring every patient feels supported, informed, and comfortable throughout their experience.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of radiological technical procedures specific to the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease in a high-volume outpatient setting.
- Produce high-quality radiographic images while interacting with all patients in a caring, professional, and comforting manner.
- Share responsibility for performing required quality control activities as mandated by the Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and the FDA.
- Depending on location, utilize general radiography skills to perform diagnostic radiology exams.
- Successful completion of a formal radiologic technology training program, which meets the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- National Registered Technologist - Mammography within 1 year of hire
- Dependent on location, prior general radiography experience may be required
- 2 years of full-time mammography experience
