** Patient Services Specialist 2.*

*** Full-time, 100% FTE (40 hours per week)
* Day Shift
** DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
** Ideally located for those living or working near downtown Seattle, UW Medicine Primary Care at Belltown offers appointments six days a week, including evenings and same-day appointments. Medical advice is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Use  to message your care team any time, or call your clinic during business hours and you'll receive a call back within a day.

When the clinic is closed, you'll reach an after-hours consulting nurse service.

** PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Providing staff, providers, and patients with an efficient system of internal and external communications, including phone answering and call triaging
* Scheduling provider and ancillary service appointments
* Obtaining patient demographic, financial, and clinical information
* Partnering with all members of the clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and exceptional care delivery
* Other duties as requested
** REQUIREMENTS
* ** High school graduation or equivalent AND
* One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience OR
* An equivalent combination of education/experience
