What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)- Maintain and develop an efficient workflow for the referral process, addressing internal and external referrals
- Interface with the FACT team and clinic staff to address outstanding denials or appeals
- Document the steps in the referral process and ensure compliance with established procedures
- Oversee and maintain a database for tracking referrals using EPIC
- Serve as the primary contact for new patients and referring providers regarding the referral process
High School graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience as a Patient Services Specialist 2
Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)- Experience with EPIC or similar healthcare software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Background in healthcare or patient services
