The OpportunityAs a One Medical Phlebotomist/Administrative Assistant (Lab Services Specialist/Member Support Specialist) you’ll provide an exceptional patient experience by performing venipuncture and other clinical support services. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring the office lobby looks and feels on brand, and will support practice coordinators, operations managers and providers as requested.
What You’ll Likely Work On- Use C‑I‑CARE framework for patient interactions, manage intake, same‑day schedules, follow‑ups, billing, insurance, and patient feedback.
- Provide venipuncture for all age groups and assist with extended scope duties such as non‑blood specimen collection, EKG/ECG, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests and swabs.
- Maintain specimen labeling, handling, processing, inventory, and tool sterilization.
- Assist providers and virtual teams with clerical duties, biometric screening, record review, billing inquiries and DOH reporting.
- Handle front‑of‑house duties: check‑in/check‑out, insurance verification, printing, paperwork, test prep, and service level tasks.
- Support team development through huddles, rounding, problem‑solving and ad‑hoc asks.
- Perform opening/closing duties and maintain patient and employee spaces.
- Master technology suites:
Slack, G‑suite, Zoom, Circulation, Ring Central, and Electronic Medical Record System.
- Active phlebotomy certification in Washington.
- At least six months of experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside a training or externship program.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Computer proficiency: typing, internet navigation and multitasking with multiple software systems.
- Experience collaborating with diverse, multidisciplinary teams; remote teamwork preferred.
- Confidence in delivering compassionate, individualized, customer‑focused care.
- Track record of adapting to change, taking action on challenges and learning quickly.

Compensation is $25.75 to $27.75 per hour for a full‑time schedule (40 hours per week). 8‑hour shifts typically from 8 AM‑6:30 PM at our downtown Seattle office on 7th Ave, with flexible locations. Roles may include Apollo Health Station, SLU, Pike and 2nd.
