Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary leader to define and execute the strategy for process sciences, advancing analytical and process development to enable commercial success.

Your objectives
  • Develop and implement the strategic operating model for process sciences to support cell therapy development and commercialisation.
  • Ensure robust process and analytical development aligned with GMP and regulatory expectations, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Build and lead a high‑performing, cross‑functional team to deliver innovation, scalability, and quality in process sciences.
What you will do
  • Provide technical and strategic leadership in cell therapy and viral vector process development and analytical method design.
  • Oversee process and analytical characterisation to ensure regulatory compliance and product robustness.
  • Lead CMC contributions for regulatory submissions and represent process sciences in agency interactions.
  • Develop and implement standardised methodologies for process and analytical development.
  • Partner with Research, Technical Operations, and Manufacturing to ensure seamless technology transfer from development to GMP manufacturing.
  • Drive productivity and yield improvements through Lean leadership principles and continuous optimisation.
  • Champion the adoption of innovative technologies that enhance scalability and commercial readiness.
  • Foster a culture of technical excellence, talent development, and accountability across the process sciences organisation.
What you will bring
  • Proven leadership experience in process sciences, analytical development, or technical operations within the cell therapy or biopharmaceutical sector.
  • Strong understanding of GMP regulations and experience with CMC submissions and regulatory interactions.
  • Deep scientific expertise in immunology, cell biology, molecular biology, and viral vector development.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive innovation and operational excellence.
  • Skilled in leading cross‑functional teams, influencing senior stakeholders, and fostering high‑performance cultures.
  • Experience implementing Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Advanced degree (PhD, MSc, or BSc) in a relevant life sciences discipline.
