Senior Patient Services Specialist - Maternal Fetal Medicine

The Senior Patient Services Specialist functions as an integral team member of the Maternal and Fetal Specialty Center providing support and clinical coordination of multiple patient care services. The Senior PSS exercises independence in the planning and accomplishment of a wide spectrum of clerical and administrative duties.

• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire:
  Medical Terminology Certification or successful completion of a Medical Terminology course
• Experience in obtaining insurance verifications, referrals and authorizations

• Associate's Degree --or-- Equivalent from a college or technical school
• 1 year of related experience in a healthcare setting (i.e. physician’s office, scheduler, etc.)
