** This role independently ensures smooth department operations through highly confidential and professional executive support, necessitating a high degree of tact, discretion and diplomacy    
** PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
*** The Executive Assistant will independently plan, coordinate, and implement policies and procedures to support the Chief Ambulatory Officer (CAO), so that all regulatory requirements are met
* Acts as a communication liaison with UW Medicine leadership and community leaders as needed
* Communication and Liaison with various stakeholders, ensuring clear conveyance of the CAO’s messages and managing feedback appropriately
* Operate independently, make decisions and take actions with delegated authority to support high-level executives, including the CAO
* Managing time-sensitive communications, which requires the ability to quickly and accurately convey information to various audiences
* Meeting the demands of competing stakeholders, each with unique needs and expectations
* This role requires outstanding writing abilities and the ability to communicate verbally with senior leaders, staff, and the general public
* Records, composes and edits minutes of meetings as requested
* Independently managing both short-term tasks and long-term projects
* Handling highly confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism
* Serves as a confidential liaison to the Chief Ambulatory Officer and manages the executive calendar and coordinates day-to-day activities of the Chief Ambulatory Office
* Independently arranges and coordinates committee meetings, special events, open forums, and other hospital activities
* Schedules appropriate accommodation, orders/operates equipment, and coordinates logistical activities as needed
* Utilizing various software and tools for document preparation, calendar management, and communication
*
* REQUIRED:

*** Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or related degree
* 5 years’ experience supporting a C level executive.
* Equivalent experience may substitute for degree requirement
