Job specification

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a variety of telemetry and step-down units.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry readings, ensuring early recognition of patient deterioration.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and interventions per physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Float between designated telemetry and step-down units, adapting to diverse patient populations and care settings.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication management, and post-discharge care.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Candidate requirements

• Active RN license in Washington (or eligibility for licensure).
• 2+ years of recent telemetry or progressive care unit (PCU) experience required.
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, EKG interpretation, and telemetry management.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Strong adaptability and ability to work across multiple telemetry units.
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
