Psychotherapist​/Social Worker Palliative Care

Overview

The Palliative Care Services Psychotherapist/Social Worker works as a core member of an interdisciplinary consulting team to support patients and families dealing with serious illness. The PCSP is responsible for providing a full range of social work services including psychosocial assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, crisis intervention, resource referral, short-term counseling, grief support, advance care planning, facilitation of family meetings, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

Swedish Medical Center’s Issaquah Highlands campus is a full-service community hospital 17 miles east of downtown Seattle.
