Aural Rehabilitation Specialist

Provide assessment, treatment, consultation and training to children with hearing loss and their families, and provide consultation and education to other professionals and non-professionals. Applies the knowledge and skill necessary to provide appropriate interactions with staff, patients and families of all ages.

Preference will be given to experienced candidates.

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology or completion of graduate coursework and clinical practice required for ASHA status as Clinical Fellow.
• Experience in pediatric diagnostic or treatment settings.

• American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• Washington State license in Audiology or Speech Language Pathology.
• For CFY applicants:
  Washington State Department of Health Interim Permit to train as a speech-language pathologist with successful completion of CCC requirements within 12 months of start date.

• Knowledge of Sign Language.
• Experience working with 0 to 10 year old children with hearing loss.

$46.96 - $70.43 per hour

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.

This compensation range is specific to Seattle, positions located outside of Seattle may be compensated differently depending on various factors.
