Imaging Technologist – Supervisor

Job DescriptionThis supervisory role reports to the Imaging Director and ensures 24‑hour operational coordination in office as well as on‑call coverage.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating patient flow and ensuring efficient, high‑quality patient service while minimizing costs.
- Supervising Lead Technologists and Technologists across Radiography, Computed Tomography, Interventional Radiography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and Ultrasound modalities.
- Providing vision, leadership, and direction to staff; preparing and completing payroll; coordinating interview, hiring, leave approval, performance evaluation, and competency assessments.
- Developing and maintaining departmental policies, procedures, quality assurance, and radiation safety program standards.
- Validating patient requisitions for completeness; liaising with patient care areas to clarify incomplete requisitions.
- Maintaining adequate department supplies and presenting in‑service training to staff.
- Providing quantitative data on quality assurance, staffing, patient flow patterns, and budget metrics to Radiology Management and the Medical Director.
- Managing fiscal responsibilities, maintaining budgetary and productivity targets.
- Participating in planning, research, and educational activities; performing technologist duties as necessary.
- Assuming administrative oversight in the absence of the Imaging Manager.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist by the State of Washington.
- Completion of rétro? a formal radiologic technology training program in an AMA जल? reviewed school; registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and eligibility in an equivalent specialty area.
- At least one year experience performing the work of an Imaging Technologist Lead in relevant specialty service area(s).
- Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications, except where legal requirements such as licence, certification, or registration apply.
- Annual Pay Range:
Minimum $133,332 – Maximum $208,548. - Shift: First Shift (United States of America).
- Position Type:
Full‑time (100% FTE), Regular. - Union/Bargaining Unit: SEIU 1199NW HMC Imaging Technologist Supervisor.
