Job Title – SUDP TIM
Compensation – $70,000 – $75,000
Location – Seattle Clinic
Schedule – Monday‑Friday 5:00 am – 2:00 pm
Job SummaryThe SUDP (Substance Use Disorder Professional) for the Mobile Unit (TIM) is part of the Behavioral Health Counseling team. The primary responsibility is to provide comprehensive assessment, individual and group counseling, case management, community outreach, and coordination of care for participants enrolled in the Treatment in Motion program.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Complete an initial ASAM assessment and intake.
- Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions.
- Create and update individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation of all engagements.
- Provide community‑based SUD services for participants seeking MOUD services.
- Offer telehealth counseling as needed.
- Respond promptly to positive urinalysis/breathalyzer results.
- Coordinate letters of assistance and referral for assigned participants.
- Conduct community‑based outreach and engagement to connect individuals with TIM and other services.
- Complete treatment summaries for discharged participants.
- Complete required state and agency recording forms.
- Participate in treatment care team meetings and interdisciplinary staff meetings.
- Travel regularly to support community‑based MOUD services.
- Support clinic‑based counseling services as required.
- Adhere to all policies, procedures, and documentation timelines.
- Protect participant privacy in accordance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
- Maintain professional ethics and conduct at the highest standard.
- Attend required professional development and training.
- Work closely with outreach and MOUD teams to support participant engagement.
- Develop relationships with community service providers for referrals.
- Participate in scheduled supervision and clinical consultation.
- Communicate and coordinate care across departments.
- Participate in peer chart and documentation audits.
- Demonstrate understanding of racial justice and social equity.
- Commit to creating an equitable environment for all participants and staff.
- Build and maintain respectful, effective relationships across diverse backgrounds.
- Support organization-wide efforts to address systemic harm and promote community health.
- Exhibit strong work ethic, reliability, and consistent attendance.
- Function effectively in high‑stress settings while implementing treatment interventions.
- Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
- Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion of work.
- Maintain composure under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Maintain professional boundaries and organizational confidentiality.
- Apply de‑escalation techniques and problem‑solving skills.
- Utilize Microsoft 365 and other required technology proficiently.
- WAC 246‑811 certification as a WA State Department of Health Substance Use Disorder Professional (required).
- Academic training in social services and substance use disorder treatment.
- Relevant lived experience with the participant population (highly desired).
- Work experience in substance use disorders, social work, or outreach programs.
- Experience providing services from a harm‑reduction perspective.
- Experience providing community‑based MOUD services (preferred).
- Exposure to drug residues, fumes, and potential blood borne pathogens; appropriate training will be provided.
- Regular standing, sitting, walking, and occasional kneeling; may lift up to 30 lb.
- Work outside in inclement weather; moderate noise level.
- Visual requirements: near, color, and peripheral vision; ability to adjust focus.
