Supply Chain Technician 2 at University of Washington

UWMedicine – Northwest Hospital has an outstanding opportunity for a Supply Chain Technician 2.

40 hrs/week, Day Shift

UW Medicine Supply Chain Management enhances our patient care experience by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise.

Maintain an appropriate level of general, medical, and surgical supplies throughout the facility by utilizing effective stocking procedures.

This position reports to the local Supply Chain Materials & Logistics Supervisor/Manager.

Support patient care at this 281-bed, community-based nonprofit hospital in North Seattle.

• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining adequate stock and distributing general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment throughout the hospital.
• Manage rental equipment using Supply Chain point-of-use (POU) systems.
• Use tech like handhelds, package scanners, and Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS) to ensure proper inventory and cost allocations.

• High school graduation AND 6 months of supply chain experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the minimum job requirements.

Pay Range Minimum: $21.62 hourly

Pay Range Maximum: $30.74 hourly
